Uniforms

As we are sure you are aware, Scouting is a uniformed organisation. When purchasing uniform (sweatshirts, Jerseys and Shirts in partcular) please ensure you are purchasing official uniform (otherwise the uniform your child is wearing may be different to that worn by others).

We advise new members to wait a few weeks before purchasing uniform.

There are two core items of uniform. The 151st scarf or necker (Black with a gold border, given to the young person when they are formally invested). Beavers wear a blue sweatshirt, Cubs a green sweatshirt and Scouts a teal (blue) shirt. There are also a range of optional items including polo-shirts, hats and trousers. Uniform trousers are blue but we are happy for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to wear any dark blue or black trousers
Uniforms are worn at weekly meetings and at other occaisions during the year.
